Oversized transport, where the shipment is large laterally, is usually at night because the traffic is much lower. Therefore, the licensing authority shall set the delivery time to fall within this period. For the transport of vehicles with a gross vehicle weight of more than 40 tonnes or a maximum permissible axle load, an overweight charge shall be levied according to the maximum permissible laden weight, axle load and axle group load.

Obtaining a route permit

The weight and size of motor vehicles engaged in road transport are regulated by law. The regulation states that if the loaded vehicle exceeds a predetermined total weight, axle load or size, the route permit becomes mandatory. The route permit for national roads is issued by Magyar Közút Nonprofit Zrt. The deadline for granting consent is 3-5 days by default and electronically, but can be up to 15 days, especially in the case of overweight and oversized vehicles. The issue of a route permit is subject to a permit processing fee, which depends on the total weight, axle load, axle group load, height, width and length.

A szakkísérést, kamionkíséretet végző gépjárműnek a sárga megkülönböztető, figyelmeztető jelzésen kívül további, jogszabályban előírt jelző eszközzel kell rendelkeznie. Ilyen jelzőeszköz a változtatható jelzésképű tábla, mely a forgalom elterelésére, valamint a korlátozására alkalmas eszköz.
Szakkíséretet csak olyan személy láthat el, aki a közlekedésért felelős minisztertől szakkísérői képesítést kapott. Szakkísérői képesítést a „C”kategóriára érvényes vezetői engedéllyel és 5 év szakmai (vezetési) gyakorlattal rendelkező személy kaphat.
A szakkíséretet biztosító gépjárművünk a magyar előírásoknak megfelelő eszközzel van felszerelve, valamint a szakkíséretet végző sofőrünk rendelkezik szakkísérői képesítéssel.

Túlméretes és túlsúlyos szállítmány

A túlméretes szállítás, ahol a szállítmány oldalirányban nagyméretű, ezért az általában éjjel zajlik, mert ilyenkor jóval kisebb a forgalom. Ebből kifolyólag az engedélyt kiadó hatóság úgy határozza meg a szállítási időt, hogy erre az időszakra essen. A 40 tonna össztömeget, illetve a megengedett legnagyobb tengelyterhelést meghaladó járművek közlekedéséért túlsúly díjat kell fizetni, amit aszerint állapítanak, hogy mekkora a megengedett legnagyobb össztömeg, tengelyterhelés és tengelycsoport-terhelés.

Útvonal engedély beszerzése

A közúti szállítmányozást ellátó gépjárművek tömege és nagysága törvényi szabályozás alá tartozik. A rendelet kimondja, hogy ha a rakott jármű az előre meghatározott össztömeget, tengelyterhelés vagy méretet meghaladja, akkor az útvonalengedély kötelessé válik. Az útvonalengedélyt az országos közutakra a Magyar Közút Nonprofit Zrt. adja ki. A hozzájárulás megadásának határideje, alapesetben és elektronikusan 3-5 nap, de különösen nagymértékben túlsúlyos és túlméretes járművek esetben ez 15 napig is terjedhet. Az útvonal engedély kiállításáért engedély eljárási díjat kell fizetni, mely az össztömegtől, a tengelyterheléstől, a tengelycsoport-terhelés mértékétől, valamint a magasságtól, a szélességtől és a hosszúságtól függ.
